Community Event Program
The Middletown Pride Community Event Program, an initiative led by the members of the City of Middletown’s LGBTQIA+ Commission. Our aim is simple: to create a series of monthly social events that provide a safe and welcoming space for local LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and allies to come together, connect, and be with each other. From Speed Dating and Friending, to Gayme Nights, Trivia Nights, Karaoke, Movie Nights, or Halloween events, our events are as diverse as the community we serve. Whether you’re looking to forge new connections, engage in meaningful conversations, or simply unwind and have a good time, there’s a place for you at our events!

Middletown Pride Grant Program
At Middletown Pride, our commitment to supporting and uplifting the LGBTQIA2S+ community goes beyond hosting PrideFEST and social events. We believe that we also must give back to our community, and to help build a community that we are all proud of. Started in 2021, the Middletown Pride Grant Program was designed to do just that. It is an initiative that supports bringing queer community organizations and services to Middletown. While still in its infancy, we continue to look for ways to grow the Middletown Pride Grant Program each year.
The first recipient of the Middletown Pride Grant Program is Q+ (qplusct.org). Q+ is a grassroots, community based, youth led, volunteer run organization that creates queer youth programming across Connecticut. This grant allows Q+ to provide two queer youth events, one preteen event, and one event for parents of queer youth, every month in Middletown. Middletown Pride Scholarship Program
The Middletown Pride Scholarship Program was created in 2023 to foster opportunities for a brighter future—one where every LGBTQIA2S+ individual can chase their dreams without barriers. Our program is dedicated to providing a stepping stone for eligible high school seniors and Middletown residents, embarking on their journey towards higher education at an accredited university or college for an undergraduate or graduate program.
